What’s up in July?

Another month is almost to a close. Time is whizzing by, once again!

Next up on our show schedule is the July 4th celebration in Baileys Harbor. The fun starts on Mondaywith arts and crafts booths set up on the Town Hall lawn, Highway 57 and F. We’ll be set up there throughout the day Monday. the 3rd and Tuesday, the 4th, from 9am to 5pm. On July 9th, we’ll be at the Paine Art Center in Oshkosh for their “Faire on the Green.” Hours are 9am, to 4pm. 1410 Algoma Blvd. in Oshkosh. You’ll find over 100 artist/crafter booths, great food and live entertainment.

July 15th we’re staying close to home – we’ll be set up in downtown Elkhart Lake for the Elkhart Lake Farmer and Artisan Market, from 8:30 to 12:30.

July 22nd finds us in Richfield for the “Art at the Mill.” Browse among the booths of 60+ talented artists (Painting, Pottery, Wood, Textiles, Basketry, Glass, Metal and Much More)…see what the vendors have to offer (Nuts, Fudge, Pet Treats, Homemade Butter)…listen to entertaining music …enjoy a delicious breakfast and lunch by La Cabana…find a treasure at the Silent Auction…have fun on a wagon ride to the exhibit area. And, a tour of the historic Messer/Mayer Mill, Mill House, Lillicrapp Welcome Center and Log Buildings adds a touch of the past to this event. 9am to 4pm. Admission & Parking: Free

And rounding out July, a long road trip to Marquette, Michigan for Art on the Rocks. Art on the Rocks™ has grown to one of the finest art shows in the country, attracting over 140 artists and 10,000 people each year. In 2017, they’ll be celebrating the 59th annual fine art and crafts festival in Mattson Lower Harbor Park, sandwiched between Marquette’s historic downtown and the Cinder Pond Marina on beautiful Lake Superior. Hours: Saturday, July 29, 10am to 6pm; Sunday, July 30th, 10am to 5pm.

As always – don’t forget to oil your cutting boards, knife handles, wooden utensils, etc. You can NEVER have too much oil!
